How To City is a sole proprietorship company, founded by Jarmo Leppinen in August 2017 and registered to the Finnish Trade Register. Our website address is: https://www.howtocity.fi/
Our website is using the WordPress and WooCommerce platforms. WordPress and WooCommerce provide us with the online platforms that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
The website and customer data are stored in servers located in Finland.
Any collected information will be shared with third parties only if they relate to the purposes listed in the next section.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; e-mail address; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated below only.
We collect non-personal and personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate services;
- To provide our users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

Data collected in our shop

If you create an account, we will store your name, user name, address and email which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
How long we retain your data
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it.
Personal information for pending, failed and cancelled orders will be retained for 10 days. Personal information for completed orders will be retained for 18 months.
We will store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

Payments
We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Caching
This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary.
